Potted Crayfish with Sourdough Bread

Ingredients

  • 18g melted butter
  • 4floz crayfish
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper
  • Pinch of cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 slices sourdough bread

Preparation method

  1. Mix all spices with melted butter and season to taste
  2. Add crayfish to butter and heat through
  3. Pour mixture into a ramekin, and top with remaining butter
  4. Refrigerate until solid
  5. Serve in ramekin with sourdough bread.

Prawns, shrimp or white crab can be substituted.
